In 1976 brachten de Bellamy Brothers de wereldhit Let Your Love Flow uit – een tijdloze klassieker die nog altijd veel mensen weet te raken. Bijna vijftig jaar later blaast zanger en gitarist William Smulders dit iconische nummer nieuw leven in met zijn eigen eigentijdse uitvoering. De single is geproduceerd door Roel Jongenelen en ademt de energie, warmte en muzikale klasse waar William al jarenlang om bekendstaat.

Wie William nog niet kent van de muziek, heeft hem vast voorbij zien komen in de landelijke SBS6-commercial van Showbird, waar hij één van de meest geboekte artiesten is.

William Smulders is een veelzijdige Nederlandse zanger en gitarist, bekend om zijn onweerstaanbare mix van rock ’n roll, pop en swing. Met zijn opvallende verschijning, energieke podiumpresentatie en authentieke stem weet hij elk publiek mee te nemen in zijn muzikale wereld – een wereld waarin plezier, vakmanschap en nostalgie moeiteloos samenkomen.

Al vanaf zijn twaalfde staat William op het podium. Hij liet zich inspireren door grootheden als Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, BB King, Django Reinhardt, The Beatles en Chuck Berry. Zijn liefde voor het klassieke geluid klinkt door in zijn muziek, maar altijd met een frisse en eigentijdse twist. Zijn veelzijdige repertoire varieert van rock-’n-rollklassiekers en evergreens tot lichte jazz en instrumentale Spaanse gitaarmuziek. Zowel solo als in samenwerking met andere artiesten weet William zijn publiek telkens weer te verrassen.

Zijn carrière bracht hem al bij onder andere Radio 5, Giel Beelen, SBS6, TV Gelderland en Tineke de Nooij. Ook werkte hij samen met internationale sterren als Wanda Jackson (de “Queen of Rock ’n Roll” en vroegere vriendin van Elvis Presley), Linda Gail Lewis en Chris Montez.
